Full description
The fox is a two layer linocut print, the first layer a blend of colours which form both the background and the orange of the fox. The fox is prowling beneath a grape vine, full of autumn colour much like the fox himself. The illustrative style suggests a story or folk tale, and Jane liked to imagine a crafty crow just out of reach.
The image measures 19 x 10 cm and is hand printed onto handmade hemp paper which measures approx 21 x 30 cm.
