Full description
Here I am selling one of my handmade recycled turntable clocks. This one is a 1970's Fidelity HF 42 turntable. It is black plastic with cool faux wood surround. The back is enclosed except for a hole through to the clock mechanism, and through which you can change the battery and adjust the time.
This is a classic and stylish piece and of course is one of a kind.
This piece features a beautiful HMV 78 shellac record of 'David rose and his orchestra' 'Holiday for strings'. As you can see from the pictures the label has the classic HMV design a painting by Francis Barraud, A.R.A. of the dog Nipper listening to a wind-up gramophone. The clock is made to hang on a wall via hooks or a wire on the back.
This is a beautiful piece to buy for yourself or any music lover as a gift or simply as a beautiful piece of art in its own right.
