Full description
Bees are so important and make such a great subject for embroidery. I've hand embroidered this little piece of hoop art onto natural calico using my own design and love the simplicity of the black and yellow together - it's so striking. Tiny black seed beads have been sewn into the middle of the flowers and sequins have also been added for a little sparkle.
The hoop is 4 inches in diameter and comes with a piece of jute twine for hanging and a length of black ribbon for tying in a bow (if you wish). I don't use glue on my hoops but the back of the embroidery has been secured with stitching and neatened off with another piece of calico.
A lovely addition to your home, it would also make a lovely gift.
