I was inspired to make this cotton dress when the sun was shining one day and I saw this gorgeous fabric on my wanders. I had just made a sailor-inspired dress for myself, so the seas must have been on my brain.
The hearts on the main fabric inspired me to add the pocket to the dress.
The lovely silver-coloured anchor buttons had originally been purchased for my own dress, but then I went down a different route (as I am inclined to do) but thought that they would be perfect for this dress.
