Full description
Made from Scottish burr oak, this bowl is about 8" in diameter, and shows the chaotic character of burr (burl) wood. Burrs are the 'lumps' you see on tree trunks which mark where the tree has been damaged in the past. They have no real grain, just lots of growth pattern.
this one is finished in food safe oil, and ideal for snacks - mote it has a few small holes in it - part of the nature of the material, so won't hold tiny items.
