I knitted one of these Alan Dart 'Natural Nativities' to raffle at my Dad's Church fete and I loved it so much, I started knitting more and have adapted them over time with my own little quirky additions. This one is knitted in gorgeous cotton 4 ply yarn, which is so soft and colourful.

This small Christmas 'Knitivity', knitted in lovely vibrant, soft 100% cotton yarn, is perfect to sit on a window sill or speaker.
In addition to Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus, the 3 Kings and the Shepherds, I have a sheep, a donkey and, a new addition to my Nativities, a sleepy ox.
This is much adapted from a pattern by the fabulous Alan Dart - everything is stitched together rather than glued and a couple of the kings are modelling natty head wear.
The characters are between 9 & 11 cm tall and the sheep and ox are about 5cm to their backs.
Not suitable as a toy due to the pipe cleaner animal legs and crooks.
