Full description
Black wood laser cut earrings with gold leaf moon detail. These earrings are totally handmade by myself and each pair is one of a kind. They remind me of Japanese lacquer art , each pair lovingly made in gold leaf and black hand painted wood.
How they're made:
Made from hand painted FSC certified wood, laser cut with my own design. I tested lots of wood stains and paints to find the perfect colour the highlighted the wood grain and gave a smooth finish.
I then hand applied the gold leaf to the edge of the circles to make crescent moon shapes. Each matching pair is different from the next. The paint is then glazed to protect the gold finish.
Description:
The wood disc is approx 1mm diameter.
Posts are silver plated lead and nickle free. Scroll backs.
Come packaged in pretty star covered boxes.
