Predominantly I run a bindery, producing hand-bound soft-cover leather journals using cuts of leather sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. When I'm finished with these pieces, I'm left with all kinds of shapes and sizes of off-cuts that are too small for my needs, so in the interest of continuing with the whole recycling ethos, I offer packs of scrap in a rainbow of colours for all kinds of fantastic projects ranging from tiny little books to costume jewellery, wallets and more!

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This is a piece of 24" X 6.5" cow hide leather in the photographed colour. The hide varies in thickness and is firmer in some places than others. It is approximately 1.2mm in thickness. Although the images used in this listing are for illustration purposes ONLY, it does depict the exact hide you will receive your cut from!
Ideal for a number of craft projects including bag and purse making, jewellery making, bookbinding and other accessories.
PLEASE NOTE: this leather has been pre-cut and therefore purchases of more than one piece will receive multiple separate pieces. If you require a larger piece, please get in contact first and I'll see if I have enough available for you.
Please note that as leather is a natural material, occasionally there will be peculiarities - this is not a flaw, but adds to the character of each piece. Some of these pieces may have tannery markings or similar on the reverse (suede side) such as stamping, cuts or labels. If you would prefer not to have a piece with markings on the suede side, please let me know at the time of your order!
I have kept packaging to a minimum and so your leather will arrive loosely folded in a bubble mailer.
