Full description

Lovely Lacy Crochet Shawl Pattern, available in both UK and US terminology, with written instructions and chart. This shawl is made from the top down and can be worked any size.

This PATTERN will be available to download from your inbox 24 hours after your payment has been made.

Size

61 cm (24 in) deep x 160 cm (63 in) wide when worked in the yarn given.

NOTE: When working with the Maharaja silk the shawl will block up much larger (to the size stated above) when pressed.

Materials

4 mm crochet hook (US G/6)

1 x 100g hank of Maharaja Silk Yarn. (Lace weight yarn) – 100% silk from India—730 meters (798 yards) per 100g hank.

To Substitute: Use any lace weight yarn with a knit tension of 28 sts to 10 cm (4 in) worked on no 5—6 mm needles (US 8-10)

Any yarn, hook or tension can be used as the work starts small working outwards so that you can stop (with a pattern row 8) when the size is large enough and then work the edging row.

Note

Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate.
