Predominantly I run a bindery, producing hand-bound soft-cover leather journals using cuts of leather sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. When I'm finished with these pieces, I'm left with all kinds of shapes and sizes of off-cuts that are too small for my needs, so in the interest of continuing with the whole recycling ethos, I offer packs of scrap in a rainbow of colours for all kinds of fantastic projects ranging from tiny little books to costume jewellery, wallets and more!

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Small size offcuts of 100% genuine beautiful buttery soft leather in a mixture of colours. This leather varies in thickness from 1-2mm. You will receive scraps totalling 230grams, that's just over 1/2lb!
Please note, the leather in these scrap bags consists of SMALL pieces - mostly odd shapes and strips, only suitable for scrap-booking, embellishments, jewellery making and other small craft projects and NOT projects where you need larger pieces. If you need larger pieces, please see my other items.
The pieces vary in size, please see the images for size reference (The cutting mat is in CM, and the tape measure I've used is in inches). Images are for illustration purpose only but do show a selection of small pieces similar to the ones you will receive. Image 5 shows the contents of a 230gram scrap bag to give you an idea of the amount of leather you will receive in these packs.
Please note that as leather is a natural material, occasionally there will be peculiarities - this is not a flaw, but adds to the character of each piece. Some of these pieces may have tannery markings or similar on the reverse (suede side) such as stamping, cuts or labels.
I have kept packaging to a minimum for shipping purposes so I can squeeze as much leather in package before the shipping goes up! Leather scraps will be sent in a zip-lock bag in a bubble mailer from the UK.
