Brood: .family of young
This delicate watercolour and pen painting of a Guide Dog for the Blind brood bitch and her pups has been created especially for her holder Alison on a vintage dictionary page, over the entry for "brood". The old yellowed paper gives the whole piece a charm that could not be achieved on modern paper.
All profits from the sale of this painting will be donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
This painting measures just 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is classed as a ACEO (Art Card Editions and Originals). My ACEO's are all originals and look fabulous displayed on an easel, in a photo album or in a mini frame.
I must stress that the vintage paper used in this piece is very delicate. The painting will come protected by card but is not stuck down to it as that might damage it.
Presented in a clear polythene collectors sleeve with a certificate of authenticity and a very cute handmade mini envelope, all of my miniature art is a delight to both collect and to gift!
Please note the mini easel and other props are for illustration purposes only and are NOT included in the sale.
As with all art, to keep it at its best it is important to display this painting out of direct sunlight and away from damp/humid conditions.
