Pretty Handmade Lapis Lazuli Necklace with hand made clasp and pendant setting.
This necklace has been inspired by modern African designs. Gorgeous hand cut Lapis Lazuli gemstone beads, with their dark blue colour and sparkling pyrite crystals are all roughly round in profile, cut into discs. The hand cutting gives the necklace a rustic almost ancient feel - perfect for casual days.
The gemstones have been intersected with sterling silver tube beads. These have a textured matte finish. The focal point of the necklace is a hand made sterling silver pendant. Constructed from flat sheet and wire, it has been textured, paterned and polished by hand, before setting with a vibrant blue Lapis Lazuli gemstone cabochon.
The clasp has also been hand made, shaped from sterling silver square profile wire and soldered. It has my unique makers mark and has been assayed at the London Assay Office. Fully Hallmarked.
The necklace measures 45cm or 18 inches in length approx.
