I like the shape of these, short and sturdy. I particularly like them filled with lights , beautifully simple with maximum appeal.

Glass pentagon terrarium. this stout little geometric terrarium is 7"x 7" but I make them in other sizes, so you can have a whole family of them. It shrieks modern at you and demands to be a talking point on your coffee table. Fill it with plants or candles, maybe use it as a display box or choose if for unique wedding table centrepieces. It looks great as a groovy succulent planter.
I use 2 mm glass for my terrariums and each piece is carefully hand cut by me. The pieces are then wrapped with copper foil and burnished before soldering them together to create the terrarium. Beaded lines of solder are formed along each outside join.
After washing the terrarium, I apply patina which changes the lead solder form silver to copper or black. Please choose which finish you would like from the menu
Finally the terrarium is cleaned once more and wax is applied to the framework to make it lovely and shiny.
Over time your terrarium will need a little clean, products made from carnauba wax will bring back that shine.
I enjoy creating these glass structures and each one is carefully and thoughtfully made, before being packed up in what sometimes seems like a million miles of bubble wrap and a sturdy box, ready to send to their new home.
