Full description
This is a lovely, light and easy to wear necklace with subtle cream shades.
The necklace has been created from hand cut rectangular mother of pearl beads, three beautiful natural agate beads and precious Welo Opal gemstone beads. All hand knotted for felxibility and strength, this necklace also features pretty sterling silver vermeil beads and findings. This is where 18ct yellow gold has been bonded to sterling silver for the look of pure gold. The finish is durable and should last a lifetime of normal wear.
The Welo Opals are from Ethiopia. They are subtle and change in different lighting conditions. Transparent to translucent, these gems display a spectrum of colour as you move. This is a subtle effect and differs in intensity in changing lighting conditions. - Please see pictures. These are also hand cut and individual in size and shape.
The necklace is finished with a lobster claw clasp, stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The necklace measures 46.5cm or just under 19 inches in length.
