Red bird drum lampshade, cyanotype sun print, birds on a wire with hand stitched detail in red thread. Beautiful red cyanotype sun print.
Unique lampshade that would make a great statement to any home interior or ideal gift for a bird lover.
This item is handcrafted at my home in the Wiltshire countryside using the technique of cyanotype sun print. This is an old fashioned photographic process using light sensitive ink.
This non mechanised process is what gives each lampshade its own distinctive quality.
Made from:
Lampshade: Cotton fabric, light sensitive ink in red. Professional flame retardant PVC.
Recommended bulb: 60w or 15w energy saver
Dimensions: 20cm diameter by 19cm height.
