Hares *sigh* .....what can I say? The trickster, the cat of the corn, they go by many names. I am bewitched by their wild magic, and express my deep joy at sharing this corner of Lancashire with them by capturing their essence, strength and beauty in silver form.

Shhhhh! Don't wake him! This solid silver dreamer is Morpheus, the cutest sleeping hare you'll ever see!
He is named after Morpheus - the God of dreams who could appear in your dreams in any form to send you a message from the Gods!
I hand carved Morpheus from a solid block of wax, then he was transformed into sterling silver using the lost wax casting method.
Morpheus measures 4cm long by 15mm at the highest point, and has a handmade silver brooch pin and catch soldered securely to the reverse, in addition to an attached safety chain, to make sure you never part company with him by mistake!
This sweet little creature will snooze gently on your lapel, shawl of scarf, making little snores that only you can hear!
One of the product photographs shows the wax carving stage in progress, which gives an insight into the 100%handmade nature of my work.
Morpheus is hallmarked at The London Assay Office, which guarantees the purity of the silver, and bears my unique Maker's Mark as part of his hallmark.
He will come presented ready to give as the ultimate gift in a Lucylou Designs jewellery box, or if you can't bear to part with him, it would make a great place to keep him safe!
