Full description
A gorgeous vintage Child's chair, which has been lovingly reupholstered in the delightful William Morris, Brer Rabbit Fabric. This fabric is taken from a 17th century Italian silk and the design was first registered in 1882. It was named after Uncle Remus children's books (which were popular at that time). Today the design has been replicated and renamed the Brer Rabbit fabric. Making it the perfect fabric to reupholster such a treasured little find.
The size of the chair is 60cm in height, 40cm in width and 42 cm in depth.
The arms and legs of the chair have been painted and finished very faintly with a shabby chiq appearance, making it look lovingly aged . . .
This unique and exquisitely reupholstered little chair would make an ideal christening gift or new baby gift. Inside the chair is a cutting from a daily newspaper of the date in July the chair was reupholstered, so never to be forgotten, and making it the perfect heirloom . . .
We are very passionate about our delightful little chairs, each being unique and one-of-a-kind and hand-stitched with love . . . Each telling their own little story . . .
