Full description
Sterling silver modernist style swirl pendant formed by traditional silver smithing techniques.
This silver pendant has been hand formed from square profile sterling silver wire. The shape has been work hardened by hammering before adding the settings, cut from sterling silver tubing. These have been filed and then recessed with diamond burs to counter sink the five colourful 3mm wide CZ gemstones. The stones were then secured by gently hammering the silver around the stones to set them securely. The bail has also been hand made and soldered to the pendant.
I have given the pendant a high polish on both sides and is smooth against the skin.
The pendant measures 46x25mm approx and is suspended on an unusual, high quality s-link chain. This is 18 inches long approx, sterling silver and stamped 925. It is secured by a bolt ring clasp. If you would prefer a different clasp, please let me know before purchase.
I have shown the pendant next to a 2p coin for scale only.
The pendant has been assayed at the London Assay office. It bears my unique makers mark. Please see photos.
The necklace will come beautifully gift boxed, ready to be presented as a gift.
It will be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK.
