Exquisite Mehndi patterns softly decorate a pair of hands as they cradle a delicate flower.
Mehndi is the art of painting the body in ornate designs with henna. It is a beautiful and
mysterious art form, used for centuries to adorn and bless.
An original pair of hands will be designed, pencil-drawn and scalpel-cut from Southfield Midnight Black paper. I will fill every contour with a completely unique selection of delicate patterns just for you, so that no-one else will ever have a piece quite the same! Each tiny detail will then be scalpel cut carefully by hand.
Although I usually cut on black, other colours are available – please get in touch if have any particular requirements and I will be more than happy to help.
Your mehndi design can be mounted with a slight raise on A4 Murano 160gsm paper, or left unmounted if you prefer. If required, choose a background of soft white or from a selection of 21 classic colours to complement any decor using the colour chart provided. Please note there may be colour variations. The colour on screen can never truly replicate the colour of the paper due to variations in scanner images and screen settings.
Your papercut will be signed and dated, before being carefully boxed and wrapped to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
PLEASE NOTE All Rope papercuts are supplied unframed.
