Full description
The first bloom on a new rose plant in my garden, I have captured the delicate flower in watercolour on this ACEO sized painting.
This pretty ACEO measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches, or 64 x 89 mm, the standard size of these collectible, original works of art. I painted the rose using artist's quality watercolours, Inktense pencils and 300gsm paper. The artwork has been signed and dated on the reverse.
The easel is an example of how an ACEO can be displayed, but is not included in the sale. Some collectors keep these little paintings in albums and they also look very effective when framed as part of a collection.
The painting will be sent to you in protective cellophane within a board-backed envelope, using first class post.
