Another of a new series of linocut prints, quite a detour from my usual style, much more illustrative and all inspired by the circus.
I saw an exhibition of work by the marvelous illustrator Peter Reddick last year, and loved the scale and detail of each tiny woodcut, and the way they each held a place in a book, describing part of a story, yet telling their own. Very inspirational.
This image measures 10 x 15 cm and is printed on handmade paper that measures 21 x 15 cm.
Each print is signed.
