I suppose my initial inspiration came from fire-watching when I used to go camping, and experiencing a relaxed feeling from watching the flames. During childhood holidays in the UK and France my parents took me to churches and cathedrals; pretty boring for a young lad, but I found myself transfixed by the light streaming through artwork created hundreds of years earlier. I am now inspired by contemporary stained glass window designers, and by art nouveau motifs created by various artists. I like to use existing designs and create my own in a similar style. The vibrant contrasting and complementary colour schemes offset the neutral colour of ‘my little glow box’ perfectly.

This unique, wooden, hand-crafted, painstakingly hand-finished ‘Mylittleglowbox’ is a triumph of beautiful design and functional practicality. Its reflective interior and angled construction maximises the light emitted though a translucent, replaceable art design from only a single tea light. One ‘my little glow box’ makes a stunning statement, two or three together creates an arc of bright colour on a mantelpiece, but eight can form a show-stopping, circular centrepiece for an elegant dining table. There is no restriction to your creativity; unlike other contemporary light boxes on the market. ‘Mylittleglowbox’ doesn’t rely on an electrical socket to illuminate its beautiful art design. When placed next to a wall, ‘my little glow box’ even projects rays in an aurora above it. When sitting on a surface with a sheen it creates a warming reflection.
