These are made to order from air dried Oak and are finished with a natural oil. It is expected that the timber will weather down to a silver grey colour (unless you really like oiling benches a lot!) . It has been designed to last for many, many years and provide a comfortable haven in any garden. This example has personalised carvings and these add a very individual touch. Carving or engraving can be applied anywhere you like and is included in the cost. Delivery can be arranged at cost to anywhere. There is roughly a six week lead time on this item but if you are desperate and need it a bit quicker it for an anniversary, birthday etc then feel free to contact me as it MAY be possible to get it done to meet your deadline. Please be aware that as a natural timber product some cracks or splits may open with time and are to be considered as part of its ageing process. These defects will not affect the overall strength and great care will be taken during the selection of the timber to minimise cracking
