A lovely stylish short statement necklace comprising of beads of various sizes from extra large (2.8cm / 1.1/8") to tiny (0.75cm / 1/4") wooden beads threaded onto knotted thick strikingly coloured gold satin cord. The knots separating the beads are fashioned large creating an injection of colour in its own right.

The closure is a brown and yellow leather-look button of coconut shell.

The necklace measures 18" and can be adjusted to 19.5" for a slightly longer look

I saw these beads and immediately thought... choker on high coloured satin cord. However, simply threading the beads on would mean that the lovely coloured cord would only be evident at the closure. Next idea, show the cord off by knotting between the beads. Unfortunately, the holes are on the rather large side and knots would simply disappear within the beads. It took a some trial and error but I eventually found a large knot pattern that would facilitate the holes, et voila!.
