This enameliing workshop is suitable for beginners. It will take place at The Elworthy Hall, Winterborne Monkton, Dorchester, DT2 9PT.
Enamelling is a fascinating craft, where you use a kiln to fuse enamel powder to copper and produce beautiful colours and patterns. You will have the opportunity to make 2 or three pieces suitable for pendants or key rings. Taking the piece out of the kiln while it is red hot is slightly scary to begin with, but the emergence of the colours as the piece cools is quite magical. You don't need to have any artistic skills to produce very satisfying results.
