These tiny bags were made after I made a mistake with the direction of the fold when measuring, and didn't spot it until I had cut out a set of three bags. Considering the shape and size of the cut cloth, I thought making miniature bags would be fun, and useful for anyone who had a lot of small drawers rather than a few large ones. So I halved the rectangles I had cut. Deciding the best design for the small bags took some thought, but in the end, I decided that the proportions of the resulting rectangles lent themselves well to the bag gathered at the neck, embellished with a ribbon bow and without a separate hanger - though tying neat bows in satin ribbon is harder than it looks!

Set of six dinky little lavender bags, made with dressmaking offcuts, ribbon, and purchased dried lavender.
Approximately 6cm by 5cm (height x base at widest point)
Two bags in each of three different green cloths: a butterfly print polycotton, a plain bright green polycotton, and a slightly heavier dark green cotton/synthetic (which is more green than my camera shows in the picture on my monitor).
I have used two colours of ribbon for the neck: turquoise and summer-leaf green, so no two of the bags are identical (i.e. one of the dark green bags has a turquoise ribbon, and the other has a leaf-green ribbon, and the same with the other two colours).
Entirely hand-sewn.
These shouldn't be immersed in water: surface clean with a damp cloth if necessary, and dry thoroughly.
