I have always loved this photo taken by my partner Laurence so I particularly wanted to include it my Coast to Coast collection.

Full description
Pure wool cushion of a Newlyn fisherman line fishing for mackerel from an original photograph by Newlyn photographer / blogger Laurence Hartwell. The photo has been optimised on computer and printed / knitted on a computer hacked domestic knitting machine in Cornish lambswool. The fifth photo shows the original photo in low resolution.
This is available in black and cream. 15" x 15" (31 cm x 51 cms) with a feather down insert.
After manipulating the pixels of the image the design is downloaded onto an obsolete domestic knitting machine by hacking into it with a shield and micro computer so that a laptop can take over the needle selection and therefore the patterning device of the machine.
Hand finished with a zipped side enclosure. Ecru / cream stocking stitch on the reverse. Send me a note with your order if you would prefer black on the reverse.
Hand wash in warm water, rinse in warm water. Spin on wool setting or press in a towel. Pull into shape and dry flat.
