I adore cherry blossoms as they herald the arrival of spring!
I love their abundant , tightly packet flowers and their glorious colour.
For me they are full of splendour, optimism and promise! I hoped to capture the ephemeral beauty of the cherry blossom in this design, in which yellow white- eye birds perch on branches laden with pink blossom.

Bring a touch of spring into your home with this handmade contemporary cushion.
This modern take on the Chinoiserie style of 18th Century Europe features pretty pink cherry blossoms on a restful turquoise ground with eye catching yellow white eye birds and orange butterflies.
This cushion features my own art work which has been digitally printed onto a cotton drill fabric. Cotton drill is a durable fabric , and soft to the touch with a distinctive diagonal in the weave.
The back of the cushion is made from a contrasting white woven cotton and is finished with a zip closure.
