I was inspired by the collectors's trays in Science museums I have visited, and have tried to create the impression of a single specimen butterfly in watercolour.

Full description
A framed miniature watercolour of a Peacock butterfly. The overall dimensions of the frame are 10 cm x 11 cm and 3.5 cm deep. The frame is self-standing, as in the photos, but could be wall mounted if you wanted.
I painted the butterfly using Winsor and Newton Professional Quality paints on 300gsm watercolour paper.
The framed painting will be sent in bubble wrap and packaging, protected by an upcycled box and brown paper. It will be sent by First class post.
