Oystercatchers and their distinctive calls are very much a part of Caithness for me. You see them in the fields and along the shore.

Full description
This is a little glass panel designed to hang in the window. I have drilled the corners and attached a length of fishing line with a breaking strain of 15lb. It measures 9 x 7 cm and depicts my favourite oystercatcher fishing on a Caithness shore line. I have four of these all very similar. They will look lovely with daylight shining through them. I made them in the same way as the larger panels I sell; the background glass is painted with enamel and then frits form the rocky shore. The glass is fused gently to retain all the texture.
