Full description
lost and found, at last after years of collecting junk and keeping hold of broken brooches or earrings, charms etc I've found a way of bringing them all together :)
this necklace is part of a small collection, each one is a complete one off and incorporates items I've collected over the last few years some having there own little story .....
in this necklace we have a little rose brooch that i bought in a vintage fair when i first moved to Liverpool 8 years ago, i treasured it and wore it on almost everything , then one day it went in the washing machine with everything else and never made it out in one piece, but i kept hold of it and now its ready for a new lease of life, there is also an A.R.P badge in this which i came across in a button tin years ago these badges were issued (between 1937 - 1943) to A.R.P volunteers , a silver A.R.P badge stood for 'Air Raid Precautions' so this piece dates back to world war 2, which as you can imagine will have been through a hell of a journey its self! more so then my brooch in the washing machine , but they stand together now and complement each other beautifully , and onwards they go for years and years to come :)
