Handmade solid oak bench made from green oak beams as shown in the pictures.

48cm high

No visible fixings, delivered already assembled. The photos show the 800mm long benches, you are buying a bench 1.2mts long.

Comprising of three pieces of oak each with its own unique character that will split and age over time. This item has no sharp edges or corners as its sanded with several grades of paper until the desired smooth finish is achieved.

Picture shows treated version of the bench or you can choose to leave it untreated should you wish. Treatment options include natural Danish oil finish, medium or dark oak oiled finish. If you have a specific requirement, please contact me to discuss your needs.

These benches have also been used as a substitute Wedding Guest Book. The guests sign the treated bench with a sharpie marker pen and then sealed with clear varnish.

I am always asked to make the 800mm benches longer at 1.2mt or 1.5mts either for dining table furniture, hallway seating or even garden seating. As with all my pieces, its not just assembling wood to create a finished product. I choose each piece of oak so that all 3 pieces compliment each other to (hopefully) create what it is you want in a bench, whether it a golden coloured oak bench or a rustic country bench. Its for this reason that when purchasing anything from me you contact me and try to be as descriptive as possible on your likes and style preference.
