PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MADE TO ORDER ITEM, PHOTO IS EXAMPLE ONLY
Photo shows example of surfboard long board wall/door sign and is custom/made to order and takes approx a week to make - the example in photo has sold. The style of writing is beach hut/plank style (see photo) but if you are looking for a different style of writing please contact me first. When you place your order please let me know what you would like written on board. The example in photo shows on the sign "The Boys Room".
This Long board wall/door signs are hand made by myself from start to finish.
This is a local hand crafted item, it is not something mass produced in its tens of thousands
I do not use patterns or templates so you are guaranteed your sign will be a true one off, unique item!
The surfboard itself measures approximately 19 inches tall by 4 inches across.
The personalised writing will be sketched onto the board freehand using pencil and then permanently burned into the wood grain by using the art of pyrography.
The board is then fine sanded by hand, the fin is fitted, it is then light antique stained and finished off using two coats of bees wax and then hand polished to a light satin finish.
All my artwork and craft work is constructed and made using driftwood, recycled and reclaimed wood & materials whenever possible as is most of our postal packaging.
