Cushion cover, 45 x 45 cms. vintage mid 60s Heals fabric
Hand sewn cushion cover made in Peter Hall's iconic Verdure design which was one of the most successful designs that Heal’s ever produced and was in the Heal’s range for ten years, at a time when most designs would have had a life span of between 12 to 18 months. The stylised flower motif heavly influenced contemporary designers like Mary Quant and can still be seen in the retro modern designs of Orla Kiely. The cover is lined in beige linen and it has been piped in a matching light blue cotton. All the seams have been double sewn and four stitched overlocked for strength. It has a flap on the reverse for ease of opening.
Measures approximately 18 inches / 45 cms. square.
Mild handwash
This listing is just for the cover.
The cushon's actual colours may be ever so slightly different due to my photographic skills and your monitor's colour settings.
