Cushion cover, 45 x 45 cms. vintage mid 70s psychedelic barkcloth
Hand sewn cushion cover sewn in a very typical seventies design. This fabric was originally made up into a curtain but there is a no sign of fading that I can see, the colours are still very bright and vibrant. The cover is lined in a matching beige linen and it has been piped in a modern black cotton. All the seams have been double sewn and four stitched overlocked for strength. It has a flap on the reverse for ease of opening.
Barkcloth is so named because it has a rough surface like that of tree bark and there will be natural slubs and imperfections in the fabric.
Measures approximately 18 inches / 45 cms. square.
Dry clean only.
This listing is just for the cover.
The pillow's actual colours may be ever so slightly different due to my photographic skills and your monitor's colour settings.
