I just could not resist the floral material and bought it not knowing what I would make with it. A few weeks later I saw the checked material in the same shop on special offer. Both materials have sat in one of my material boxes for ages.
I was thinking about making some more items for my table when I re found both pieces and decided they would look great as double sided or reversible Place Mats and Coasters.

Full description
Six reversible Place Mats and Coasters. This set has been designed to be used either side up. One side consists of stylized flowers of purple, blue and red/orange colour on an orange/brown background.
The other side is a mix of large bold blocks of orange, greens, rust, with thinner stripes of blue, yellow and purple which make them bold, bright and colourful.
The materials used to make this great set of Place Mats and Coasters is a high quality cotton Polyester material. They have been machine stitched in white on my hand cranked Singer Sewing Machine.
They maybe machine washed at 40 degrees.
Approximate size:
Place Mats 14inches (35.5cm) wide by 11inches (13.5cm) long
Coasters 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches (12cm x 12cm) squared.
