Moongazing hares are one of my favourite subjects to doodle in silver , throw in a star and a moonstone and I'm even happier :)

This cute solid sterling silver pendant features an adorable hare gazing towards the stars and moon and wishing for......... you can decide!
Measuring 32mm by 22 mm this pendant is made from 925 sterling silver, featuring a whimsical hare and star, and a moonstone with hand engraved decoration and textured detail added using hammers and punches.
There is a discreet tube bail soldered to the reverse of the pendant, and it comes ready to wear hung on a leather thong necklace, with sterling silver catches.
The background has been oxidised to darken the silver to represent the night sky, and makes the foreground detail stand out beautifully. I think this pendant tells a story - perhaps you'd like to decide what it might be....!
