I decided it was time to go back to including negative silhouettes in my designs. This is something I did a couple of years back and found very rewarding, although actually stitching these designs ended up requiring a lot of attention to detail. The results were outstanding though, and absolutely worth the effort.

Full description

This listing is for the PDF cross stitch chart shown. It features the negative silhouette of a series of snowy mountain caps against a striped background that brings to mind cold, pale, wintery sunsets. The finished piece will be amazing! It’s worked over 131 X 133 stitches and it will measure approx 9” (24 cm) on each side on Aida count 14.

This chart is for your personal use only. It was carefully handmade by me so please respect my work. Do not distribute, re-print, publish, etc. If you sell your work, please credit me with the authorship of the design.

You will receive 1 PDF chart that prints over 6 pages together with a cover page including colour keys and a full image of the design for your reference. These will be e-mailed within 48 hours of payment clearing.

This pattern is a bit of a challenge for a beginner because, although the striped background is very easy to work, the irregularity of the mountain tops requires a very keen eye for detail. Nevertheless, this particular colour way is the easiest to follow in this series.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of help at any point. I’ll do my very best to come back to you within 48 hours.

Many thanks for stopping by and buying my work! Happy stitching!
