A beautiful purple/violet silver twist pendant. Using a polaris bead enclosed by carefully hammered and polished silver filled wire (please see below) this pendant is completely handmade and therefore unique. Completed with an 18' sterling silver trace chain and presented in a Ruthie Designs gift box.

(Silver filled wire is made from a minimum 10% .925 sterling silver coat, which is bonded to a white brass core. Unlike silver plated, which can wear off quite quickly, silver filled has a much thicker coat and will therefore keep it's shine through years of daily wear, just like sterling silver).

I absolutely love the opaque polaris bead contrasted with the shiny silver that entwines it and this pendant shows both materials beautifully.

My jewellery is made using gold plated, silver plated and silver filled wire along with a variety of beads, stones and shells from various sources around the world. All silver necklace chains and ear wires are made from sterling silver to achieve a high quality finish.
