Welcome to my Folksy shop in which you will find a variety of hand-stitched accessories for you and your home, many of which make lovely (and easy-to-post) gifts. I stitch in a variety of styles, combining traditional embroidery with other textile techniques such as felting, weaving, hand dyeing and silk painting. Vintage linens and fabrics re-stitched into unique gifts and accessories may be found at my second Folksy shop 'LynwoodcraftsRecycled' where you will also find vintage sewing supplies including vintage lace.
A fun brooch featuring tiny embroidered sheep and a tree in blossom.
The background of the brooch has been hand appliqued, using panels of 'eco' felt (commercially produced from recycled plastic bottles), with details added by embroidery in wools and cotton threads.
Items of embroidered jewellery may not be colourfast - care should be taken to remove them from clothing before washing.
The back of the brooch is neatened with 'eco' felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
height - 6 cm approx.
Please note: items from Lynwoodcrafts are intended for adults. This item is unsuitable for children as it contains a sharp pin and small parts may represent a choking hazard to children under 36 months.
One of a growing series of embroidered felt brooches featuring tiny sheep.
