Again my favourite type of vintage pattern where they use real people as models. I always forget the role of the USA in WW1 but this shows that the events in Europe were not being ignored in any way by the Americans, and that they had the best hopes and interests in helping the troops.

Published in the USA during WW1 this book is all patterns for items to send to the troops or that can be used for hospital and recuperation wear.

The file is a 2.21 mb download and you will need to be able to read pdf files.

This prints well and clearly from the pdf.

On this pdf are patterns for soldiers and sailors of WW1 and includes

Basic knitting cast on, off, stocking stitch, pearl etc.
