Our Landscapes are often more sculpted than we anticipate. This could have been your back garden. Our landscapes are inhabited by walkers and bikers so it is a bit like your back garden. However at the edge of the forest it's always more light giving a false sense of ease. As you travel into the forest it becomes darker and less like an inhabited space. But the tension is short lived when you come across someone walking their dog.
