This Journal or Notebook has rose garden covers and pages of handmade Indian paper, in ten rainbow colours.
The covers are a paper that has a floral design, with poetry, little birds and butterflies. It's really very pretty.
Covers are lined with handmade mulberry paper, in soft pink.
There are forty pages in total, in ten sets. Each set has a different coloured outer pair of pages, with white inner pages. All are hand moulded cotton-rag paper, from India, with their natural deckled edges intact and a surface textured by the moulds used to make each individual sheet.
The pages are suitable for most types of pen (but marker may bleed through - please test), plus dry media and some paint, as long as it isn't too wet (in which case, the page would buckle a bit, as the fibres shrink and expand unevenly). So you could use this as a sketchbook or art journal.
The book is hand bound in Coptic Stitch, with bright orange hemp cord.
The size of this book is A5 (21cm x 15cm / 8" x 6" approx) and pages are a little smaller.
