I wanted to use this summer dress to make a bag as i loved the fabric and wanted to incorporate the front button detail into the panel, i removed the original buttons and added 3 of my own that i'd found in charity shops. I also had a lace doily that i'd found in a charity shop that i wanted to add to the bag and figured it looked best as a trim around the panel.

Full description
Cross body bag, in vintage style floral fabric. 100% cotton, up-cycled from a summer dress, with lace trim and buttons found at a charity shop, and vintage style brass fastenings.
Item is fully lined with 100% cotton pink polka dot fabric. Within the lining it has a phone pocket, and a zipped inside pocket measuring 14cm, to fit small items, and has a 'vicky davison handmade' label.
Fabric is suitable for machine washing but would recommend hand washing due to detailing.
The bag is a great size for day to day use, measuring approximately 34cm x 25cm, and the cross body strap measures 108cm.
Locally hand made in Stockton Heath, Warrington.
