I am a proud Scot and I guess, as a woven textile designer, tartan and overchecking is in my DNA. My first textile job was producing a production ticket for black watch tartan scarves. This jewellery is a nice way to be able to wear your own tartan everyday not just at a ceilidh or at a wedding. Men can easily wear their kilt whilst we women have less opportunities don't you think! and this is a subtle way of doing so. I'm happy to consider making in another clan tartan personal to yourself . I, through the females in my family, can wear Hamilton, Watson, Ferguson and Duff and can remember those ties to my past while I do so .
