Mori Blossom Textile Art Doll Rag Doll

For display not play, Mori Blossom is an Art Doll, not a toy.

Approx 45cm flat, 30cm sitting.

Mori Blossom is a nature spirit. She runs feral through gardens and woodlands drinking dew from newly opened flowers.
Dressed in a raggle taggle collection of upcycled frocks inspired by lilac, cherry & hawthorn blossom.
She doesn't believe in straight line stitchery she likes wonkiness & fraying, all the better for running through hedgerows in. If you prefer perfect stitchery she's not the gal for you, you can't tame a Mori girl.
Her rag hair is hand sewn to her head & loosely styled and can be undone & restyled.
She comes with 3 frocks and also 2 mohair flower loom accessories & a crochet daffodil accessory which can be worn on her clothes or in her hair. She may even let you borrow them.
The blue ric rac on her integrated pantaloon underwear & the flower basket appliqué on her lilac dress are from the 1970's.
She has a hand embroidered face with lovely purple eyes.
She is a mix of hand sewing & 1911 hand crank machine sewing.

I have attended art doll classes & previously made my first Mori girl inspired doll because of this. I have a series of dolls in mind with a Mori girl theme. They are all nature sprites and live in the trees, woodland, streams and rabbit burrows.
