Full description
This mini leather notebook has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature.
The book is covered with leather (scavenged from the seconds pile at my local leather wholesalers) dyed in a vat of natural Indigo dye. Please note that the leather is recycled and therefore will have a few marks and flaws.
The book contains 120 pages: 10 signatures, or 60 folios (folded pages), of assorted recycled or scavenged papers.
The book can be secured with hand dyed twisted linen thread and a vintage laundry button.
Measurements approx: height 7.5 cm (3 "), width 7.5 cm (3") and depth 2 cm ( 7/8")
