mothers day mummy – free motion embroidered zombie miniature- "aubergine"
perfect for mother’s day and every other day.
these limited edition miniature mummies measure about 7cm (2.5 inches) from the tops of their heads to the bottom of their shuffling toes. they’re presented in a little black coffin…er… gift box, nestled amongst shredded tissue, and are gift wrapped. ready to present to your favourite mummy.
aubergine is made from floral liberty print cotton fabric which is layered & appliqued onto hand dyed grey cotton calico, and the intricate details are drawn freehand with free machine embroidery. her eyeballs are hand embroidered, and she’s been carefully wrapped in muslin bandages
these mummies are made entirely on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring they are unique, well made and securely constructed.
mummy is made from heavy weight calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if washed. she’s stuffed with (CE & BS5852) polyester filling, and is finished by hand.
the listed price is for one zombie mummy.
due to the very nature of handmade, hand dyeing and free motion embroidery, each mummy is unique. there is only one of each colour available.
