'Underwater Wednesday' by Trudi Murray.

An original and beautiful collage illustration of a wonderful underwater world, using lino printed paper, mono printed paper, ink, paint, oil pastel, old stamps and watercolour ink. I enjoy printing in my studio. When I'm done, there are lots of bits that didn't quite work out. That's the nature of printing! I save all these up, and then have a happy time creating collage pictures, using the shapes and patterns to make new pieces of work. Each piece of collage work is totally unique!

Unframed.

Initialled on the front, signed, dated and stamped on the back.

I love making collage illustrations. I use bits of paper I have printed or painted myself, so the end result is truly unique. My studio ends up very messy, with tiny scraps of paper everywhere!

The colours on this piece are wonderful. I stuck old stamps on it too, so it's quirky and unusual.
