I live right on the mouth of the Teign Estuary and can watch the river flow right down from the moors into the sea and this is in celebration of the snaking river and all the little boats tied to the edges of it!

Full description
In celebration of lazy days on the river in a little rowing boat, this stained glass panel captures the lazy summer in sky blues, gentle greens and the purple headland in the background. I have painted dragonflies, reeds and lots of other details, right down to the wood grain in the rowing boat! All the details are hand painted and then fired in the kiln, so they will not scratch off the glass and the whole piece has been constructed using traditional leading techniques.
This would make a great feature hanging or leaning in a sunny window or as a present for someone who appreciates messing about on the river!
